Found a rare opportunity to wander the grounds and explore the flowers of summer. The vibrancy of the colors shown bright in the sunshine.
While capturing the beauty of the distinct contrast of white and greens a butterfly danced in front of the lens. It settled among the white flowers and fluttered its wings for me to capture the detail of its wings. 
The fountain danced among the flowers, these purple stocks attracted its array of bees and butterflies. The scents of the flowers ranged from strong to intense.
Wandering through the arch opened up to more explosions of color and variety. The season of the flowers is short and to be enjoyed.
Longwood Gardens are definitely a place worth exploring and as the season change, so do the displays. I look forward to what the next seasons array of flowers bring!
